Thinking about joining? Already in the flock? Here's everything you need to know—from how Huddles work to what makes us flocking awesome.
Monthly Huddles where CMOs share insights and solutions
Always-on concierge support connecting you to our community
Opportunities to build your personal brand as a marketing leader
CMO Huddles is a curated community for B2B marketing leaders built around three key pillars:
Full-time B2B marketing leaders (CMOs, SVPs, VPs, Heads of Marketing) at companies with >50 employees.
For most, it's about having a trusted space to think out loud, stress-test ideas, and learn from people who truly get it. Members stay because the value shows up month after month—through faster decisions, better hires, stronger strategies, and a deeper sense of community.
Yes—our entire model is built around the specific challenges and goals of B2B CMOs. That focus is what makes the conversations so relevant and the connections so valuable.
CMO Huddles is home to senior B2B marketing leaders from a wide range of industries—SaaS, fintech, healthcare, manufacturing, and more.
Members represent companies of all sizes, from early-stage startups to global enterprises. Some are building marketing from the ground up, others are leading large, global teams—but all are driving strategy, navigating complexity, and eager to share what's working (and what's not).
Well, a group of these highly social, nurturing, curious, adaptable, and problem-solving birds is called a huddle. The B2B marketing leaders in CMO Huddles are all that and more, helping each other (and their teams) outswim the most challenging job in the C-Suite. And who doesn't love penguins?
CMO Huddles donates 1% of its revenue to the Global Penguin Society.
Huddles are small, expertly moderated, confidential Zoom conversations where B2B CMOs come together to share challenges, ideas, and solutions. Think of them as your monthly marketing brain trust.
Access depends on your membership level.
It's up to you. The more Huddles you attend, the more 1:1s you have, the more you post on Slack, the more value you will derive. Most Huddlers attend one Huddle per month and rely on the recaps to keep them up-to-date. Others tap into "Coach Drew" for quarterly sessions. Others rely on the recordings of Bonus and Career Huddles, listening to them at 1.3x speed! We know your time is precious, so we will do anything we can do to help you perform at your best.
Bonus Huddles and Career Huddles are recorded and available on demand. Peer Huddles are not recorded in order to maintain confidentiality and trust BUT you can catch the key takeaways in recaps. Our full directory of recaps is available to Leader members.
Most Huddles are facilitated by our Penguin-in-chief Drew Neisser, a seasoned CMO advisor, agency founder, and author of Renegade Marketing: 12 Steps to Building Unbeatable B2B Brands. Having interviewed 600+ CMOs and moderated 400+ CMO discussions, he is the master at ensuring every Huddle delivers real-world insights you can apply immediately.
We also occasionally have Huddlers serve as guest moderators throughout the year.
Topics are based on real-time member needs and trends we're seeing across the community.
Yes! We host in-person lunches and meetups in select cities throughout the year—no slides, no sales pitches, just great conversation with fellow CMOs.
The Super Huddle is our once-a-year, in-person event for 101 B2B marketing leaders. It features keynotes, panels, peer discussions, and plenty of time to connect in real life. It's invite-only and deeply curated—think of it as Huddles on steroids (in a good way).
No worries. Many CMOs have unpredictable schedules—that's why we offer multiple ways to stay engaged. From Peer Matches to Slack, Recaps, and coaching sessions with Drew, there are plenty of ways to get full value even if you can't join live every month.
Send us your challenge, goal, or question, and we'll connect you to the right Huddler, vendor, or resource—like a marketing help desk with a human touch.
Anything that falls under our unofficial mission: Help Huddlers.
Whether you're hiring, evaluating tech, navigating a tough board conversation, or looking for a playbook, we'll do our best to connect you to the right person, partner, or perspective.
Absolutely. We maintain a trusted list of vendor partners and are always happy to make warm intros to CMOs who've solved similar problems. Just tell us what you need—we'll take it from there.
Leader members can book a 1:1 with Drew anytime. Just drop a note in Slack or email the team—we'll find a time that works. If you're in Starter and interested in trying out a session, email support@cmohuddles.com.
It's moderately active and highly useful. You won't get overwhelmed, but when you post a question, people show up to help. Our team also monitors channels to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Yes—we have a dedicated Transition Team to support CMOs who are between roles. You'll get a free trial to experience the community, then the option to continue with monthly or quarterly access.
Leader members who've been with us for a while often receive extended access at no cost. Wherever you are on your journey, we're here to help you stay connected, stay sharp, and land your next great opportunity.
One of the biggest regrets we hear from CMOs in transition is not investing in their personal brand or network sooner. We help you stay visible while you're in the role—so you're better positioned for whatever's next.
We offer multiple visibility channels for Leader members:
CMO Huddles Studio is our live-streamed talk show, where members share insights on timely marketing topics in front of a live audience. It's later repurposed as an episode of Renegade Marketers Unite, a top 2.5% global podcast
Members of our Leader program are invited to join 2-3 times per year. We'll reach out when a topic matches your expertise—or you can pitch one.
Yes! Many of our members appear on Renegade Marketers Unite—a top-rated podcast for B2B CMOs hosted by our founder, Drew Neisser. Whether through CMO Huddles Studio or a standalone interview, we love sharing your stories and strategies with a broader audience.
Each year, we release an exclusive Top B2B Marketing Influencers eBook featuring standout CMO Huddles members. It's a high-visibility, high-impact piece that's widely shared—and it's just one more way we help spotlight your thought leadership.
Yes—especially for members of our Leader program. From speaking at in-person events (like the Super Huddle) to connecting you to podcasters to sharing tips on social media, we're always looking for ways to elevate your voice. If you're ready to contribute, we'll help find the right platform.
Our Starter tier is free and a great way to experience the community before committing.
If you're ready for full access, the Leader membership is $395/month—or $3,950/year when you pay annually (save two months!). Most members on the Leader plan opt for the annual option to maximize value.

Yes! Start with the free Starter tier to experience a Peer Huddle or Peer Match before upgrading.
About 90% of Huddlers get their companies to cover the membership fee either as professional development or consulting. The consulting value is real – all you need is one great 1:1 with another CMO to save you thousands or discover a new way to help you increase revenue.
We have noticed that a growing number of Huddlers are paying for their own membership because of the consistent value and support it provides. In fact, an annual Leader membership often costs less than attending a single conference—and provides year-round support, community, and impact.
Need help making the case internally? We're happy to provide a one-pager or justification blurb.
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time, and we're flexible if you need to pause or cancel. Just reach out—we'll make it easy.
Email us at support@cmohuddles.com or message us in Slack. We'll take care of it quickly.
Most members attend 1–2 live Huddles a month. Everything else—replays, concierge help, Slack—can be used when it fits your schedule. You get out what you put in, but even a little engagement goes a long way.
Not typically, but we occasionally offer a free trial period or a few months free—usually through special circumstances. If cost is a concern, reach out, and we'll see what's possible.
Smarter insights, faster decisions, and a trusted circle of peers. Whether you're launching a rebrand, defending your budget, or hiring your next agency, you'll never have to go it alone. Members report feeling more confident, less isolated, and better equipped to lead.
Absolutely. We've seen members:
We also hear this a lot: "It's like therapy for CMOs—but with real solutions." For more, check out our Testimonials page.
Most members experience value within their first Peer Huddle or Bonus Huddle—sometimes even before that, through Slack or a Peer Match. And if you're short on time, you can always tap our concierge team for support on demand.
CMO Huddles differs from these other communities by offering tailored solutions for B2B CMOs:
These features make CMO Huddles a highly focused and impactful platform for B2B marketing leaders.
Many members participate in multiple communities. CMO Huddles is specifically designed for B2B CMOs and complements other groups.

Yes! We have a dedicated Transition Team to help CMOs who are in between roles stay sharp, supported, and visible. You'll start with a free trial, then have access to flexible monthly or quarterly options. And if you've been a Leader member, we'll often extend access at no cost while you're in transition.
If you're approved, you'll receive a welcome email with the next steps, including a link to set up a short call where we'll explore your goals and the best way to start engaging.
If it's not the right fit at this time, we'll let you know and keep you on our radar for future opportunities.

Yes, though the majority of our members are based in North America. Most Huddles programming is held in U.S. time zones, so we recommend international applicants be mindful of that. For global CMOs at companies with 500+ employees, we're happy to review your application and do our best to find a fit.
Generally, no—we're a pitch-free zone for in-house marketing leaders. We do have a separate Partner Program for vendors recommended to us by the community.
Not at this time. CMO Huddles is focused on serving full-time marketing leaders in the top seat (CMO, Head of Marketing, or equivalent).
We keep Huddles small, consistent, and pitch-free so members can speak freely. Everyone agrees to a shared code of conduct and to follow Chatham House Rule. While Huddlers are encouraged to leverage the insights they gain from Huddles, they are not allowed to attribute the source of the insight to any individual or company.
Supportive, smart, and refreshingly ego-free. Our members show up to share, not show off. Think: generous advice, honest conversations, and a whole lot of "I've been there."
Both. Some Huddles get deep into org charts and tech stacks, while others tackle big-picture topics like CMO-CEO alignment, brand strategy, or leading through change. The throughline? It's always grounded in real-world experience from real B2B marketing leaders.
Yes—Starter members get access to our Slack community, one Peer Huddle or Peer Match, and all Bonus Huddles. It's a great way to get a feel for the people and the value before committing to Leader.
Show up when you can, share openly, and help others when you're able. There's no pressure to attend everything, but the more you engage, the more you'll get out of it. It's a give-to-get culture, and it works because members make it work.
We're happy to help answer any other questions you might have.
